New Technology Titan 6000sx
Digital Projection International has been working hard to stay ahead of the industry that it has been leading since its conception in 1989. Soon after the introduction of Texas Instruments DLP technology (1987) DPI began developing professional grade projectors for the large venue commercial market where the quality of the picture reflects the quality of the show and thus the performanceIf a band like Pearl Jam needed a high quality image shot on a large screen during a summer concert, it was companies like DPI that were providing the professional equipment necessary to make the show extraordinary. Over the years the technology has improved and DPI has been leading the research and development of smaller and more portable projectors and now has introduced a new line of competitively priced projector for any use.
Introducing the Titan 6000sx, a projector that has the capability of extraordinary brightness and quality. The Titan 6000sx has a mind-blowing 6000 lumens, this is unheard of in the home theatre market. This should control the brightness in any light situation whether it be an indoor venue or an outdoor venue. Coupled with a contrast ratio of 2000:1 black levels should be at an all time high. It will be able to produce color saturation so fine that Shrek himself will resemble a human. It has a native resolution of 1400x1050p so make sure that if you decide to get one you always use an expensive hard drive source in order to project the image that it is capable of.
This is the smallest professional grade projector that DPI offers but expect your grip to get tighter because at 55lbs you don’t want to drop this thing at any cost. A few specifications are still hard to find about the Titan 6000sx because it has yet to be unveiled and so the size of the machine is yet to be determined, but at 55lbs expect it to be small. Yeah right! You will be spending a little more for the lamps that are required to run this baby since they average a life of 1500 hours and yes, you have to buy two at a time. The lamps themselves are controlled with a new Xenon lamp simulating technology that processes the light so that it resembles a xenon lamp. The 6000sx has many other features that make life easier such as lens shift and a throw ratio of up to 73:1. Look out for the Titan 6000sx at this years’ Infocomm show in Las Vegas!
